The Performance Choice A leading edge high performance shell with a wave piercing bow, the Ace is designed to win races in all conditions, particularly rough water. The menacing lines of the Ace bring cutting edge performance to open ocean racing.
The hull and deck cross sections of the long low bow are shaped to move up and down through the water with little resistance, allowing the Ace to pick up energy from following seas and wakes without planning under. Oarsman can now keep pressure on in following seas to accelerate.
With two shallow footwells, there is no cockpit or washbox to trap water. The Ace sheds waves like a duck. Reentry is a snap.
Specifications The Ace is made by Echo Rowing in Maine using advanced fiberglass laminates, carefully vacuum-bagged to reduce weight and increase strength. Choose popular visibility colors like Red, Orange, Yellow, Gull Gray or Smoke White.
Carbon build with internal vertical and horizontal foam shear webs for longitudinal stiffness and floatation. Center mount adjustable foot stretchers with self bailing footwells. Deck bungees aft of stretcher.
